Description
Wichi textiles, one of the oldest textile techniques in South America, have a high symbolic content and exemplary self-sustainability.
The fiber used to make the Laguna Collection comes from the Chaguar, a native plant that has been traditionally used by the Wichi people and is at the heart of their cultural identity.
The search and collection of Chaguar for textile purposes, as well as the process of extracting the fiber, spinning, dyeing and subsequent weaving are activities carried out exclusively by the women of the community.

Care
Chaguar fiber is very resistant, and its colors are strongly fixed through natural mordants, but it is always advisable to give it the care that all artisanal work deserves. We suggest not to wet the pieces, as this could damage the fibers.
