Our fascination with the cultural richness of the deep Argentina guides us in our search for artisanal objects produced by peasant and indigenous communities from different regions of the country. We curate and offer pieces that are the heritage of our native cultures. Objects that are materialized in slow and laborious processes, that respect the environment and use ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation for centuries.
Mission / Purpose
We seek to influence the rescue and revaluation of crafts as a form of expression and cultural transmission of our oldest peoples. We are a link between conscious producers and consumers who desire and value the artisanal object as an articulator of universes. We generate sustainable exchanges, with a guarantee of origin, traceability of the production chain, and within the rules of fair trade. We want to raise awareness about the origin of the products we consume, and about the value of people's stories, generating responsible connections between those who produce and those who buy. We promote fair, ethical, and transparent trade relations that generate a positive and lasting impact on communities and their territories.

Intangible Heritage
Traditional crafts are perhaps the most tangible manifestation of intangible cultural heritage. Globalisation, environmental and climatic pressures and deforestation are diminishing the abundance of key natural resources and creating serious obstacles to the survival of traditional forms of crafts. The aim of safeguarding is to ensure that knowledge and skills are passed on to future generations so that they continue to be practised in communities as a means of livelihood and as an expression of creativity and cultural identity.

Fair trade
At Áurea Fibras Nativas we work with peasant and indigenous communities in remote rural areas of Argentina, promoting ethical business relationships within Fair Trade standards.
We seek to consolidate direct links with artisans and their organizations, based on solidarity, trust, transparency and mutual respect.
And contribute by increasing their market access, strengthening producer organizations, paying a fair price and providing continuity to generate a positive social impact on local economies.

Sustainability
Indigenous peoples have been responsible stewards of their lands and resources for thousands of years. Through their traditional knowledge and practices, they have survived and thrived, promoting the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
The pieces we sell are part of the heritage of these cultures, which have been working in an ecological way for centuries: they care for the planet by using their own materials, which then return to the earth without generating waste.
