Passed down through generations and influenced by the cycles of nature that regulate the entire production process, this knowledge is communal, with each weaver engaging in their own creative act. This rich textile heritage is kept alive through the daily practices of women and men, who, in each piece, renew the memory of their ancestors. Most of these pieces come from remote and hard-to-reach communities. They all speak of identity, belonging, and diversity, and form part of the national and universal cultural heritage.
